Standard Candy Pearl

Deep candy effect with xirallic based pearl effect. Candy apple red automotive paint is one of the most requested finishes in this family.

  • Includes Candied Apple Red, Purple Drank, James Brown, Black Cherry, CopperHead Road, Cherry Pop, Energy Blue, and many more!
  • Covers in 2-3 coats over black or silver base. You can use charcoal, or flake too.
  • Sprays and repairs like a standard basecoat with experience.

Velvet Candy Pearl Series

Same formula with a silky smooth (less coarse) effect. The velvet like all our candies quality holds its depth in direct sunlight instead of washing out.

  • Red Velvet, Blue Velvet, Rootbeer Velvet, Purple Velvet, Sangre Por Sangre, Teal, The End of Time, Cobalt Velvet, Lime Velvet, Green Velvet.
  • Same 1:1 mix as the standard line.
  • Over black or silver basecoat. The color is darker over black, more user friendly. Over silver, these will spray like traditional candies, over lap matters.
Specialty

Prism EFX Line

Candy pearl with a built-in multi-color prism rainbow effect. Unique light-shifting finish.

  • Currently available in Leprechaun Blood, Unicorn Blood, Unicorn Vomit, James Brown. (We can do this to any candy pearl for an upcharge).
  • Fine enough to spray through a standard PPS filter.
  • 3 coats are recommended for full color and effect. Over black is darker, silver is lighter.

How Your Sealer Affects The Candy Pearl Result

Every candy pearl in this line works over black or silver. The result is not the same. This is the most important decision before you spray candy paint on any project. Email or text when in doubt!

Over Black

The candy sits deep. Richer saturation, stronger shadow-to-highlight on curves. Classic candy pearl look.

Over Silver Or Flake

The candy brightens. Pearl shimmer becomes more visible. Stronger flake presence under the color. Some colors hold across both. Others shift. Order a speed shape or 8oz test before committing.

If You Don't See Yours, Ask Us

Traditional candy is a multi-stage process: silver base, transparent candy, clear. Revolt Candy Colors are single-stage candy pearl basecoats. Candy depth in 2-3 coats with standard basecoat application.
No. Black sealer gives deep saturation. Silver brightens the color and makes the pearl more visible. Both work. Less experience or none at all, lean towards black, more experience or a professional, silver or other metallics are a great option.
Yes. These spray and repair like a standard urethane basecoat. Blend into adjacent panels using standard technique, this does require experience!
Any 2K urethane clear. We recommend Revolt clears: Euro Clear for custom, Glamour Clear for collision, Top Shelf for show builds or Extreme UV. Clear within 24 hours. Use Revolt as a WHOLE system for the best tested and known results.
A Revolt sub-line with silkier pearls than the standard candy pearls. Nine colors: Red Velvet, Blue Velvet, Rootbeer Velvet, Purple Velvet, Sangre Por Sangre, Teal, The End of Time, Lime Velvet, Green Velvet, Cobalt Velvet.
Over black, standard candied apple red, will not show over black at all, there is zero effect in the candied series. It must be sprayed over silver, or looks great over our Goldfinger, SmokeShow or GunShow metallic bases. Candied Apple Red holds its tone well across and metallic or flake option.
