I bought this reducer to go with the "Extra Spicy" Top Shelf base coat I had purchased earlier, and honestly, the spotlight should go to that base coat. I absolutely love the color—the color is so spot on that I catch myself just staring at it while working in the shop.
So far, every product I’ve used from Revolt has been excellent. The RP-223 DTM primer is awesome! I’ve used it both as a sealer and as a high-build primer, and as a hobbyist, it’s great to have a product that adapts to my needs depending on the situation.
To date, I’ve used the DTM primer, Top Shelf basecoat, and Glamour clear, and I haven’t had any issues—aside from a few user errors on my part. I’m holding off on using the Top Shelf clear until I get to the exterior of my truck, but I’m confident it’ll be just as impressive.
Thanks, Revolt, for making it easy for a hobbyist garage painter to get professional-looking results!
Maybe I'll post a few pics to the facebook page if I can find some that aren't too bad.
