Revolt RP-223-50/60/70 (Gray & Black, White)

Mix Ratio 1:1 with RH/40 Epoxy Hardener

30 Minute Induction required

5 Day adhesion window without sanding. (We recommend mechanical adhesion at Revolt. It’s insurance that will always pay off, so it’s best to sand.)

Product Description and Purpose:

Revolt’s 223 Epoxy series primer/sealer is a high quality, two component iso free primer with excellent adhesion to properly prepared bare metal, fiberglass, and aluminum surfaces. The 223/50/60/70 is lead and chromate free and exhibits excellent drying and color holdout characteristics with zero shrinkage. This epoxy also offers great flexibility, and the ability to use as a non-sanding sealer.

Stop and Pay attention: Must wait a 30 minute induction time. Meaning mix 1:1 and stir, then wait 30 minutes prior to applying. Failure to do this will create an epoxy that will be slower in nature.

Pro Tip: Epoxy can be used as a means for perfect adhesion to plastics. No need to use adhesion promoter and then a primer, sealer, when you can use the epoxy as a sealer and go straight to paint.

Epoxy primer

I’ve used quite a bit of this on my personal project and even got the shop to get some for a restoration we’re doing. It seems to be too notch to me. Sands great and covers great. We’ll see how it holds up!
