Revolt 357-66 Euro Clear
The Revolt Euro Clear is a true European clear, crafted with top shelf resins in Spain. 357-66 was created with ease of spray in mind. It’s a true art form creating an extremely high solids clear, yet offering results any skill level can master.
At a whopping 66% solids, in name this clear sounds intimidating. It’s absolutely is not! This is an extremely user friendly clear coat to master. With a simple 2:1 Mix Ratio (5-10% reduction with the 380 series being completely optional) This was designed with the custom and restoration market in mind. With extreme UV resistance, and amazing clarity, you can count on this clear to protect your work. At 3 coats you are achieving extreme mil build, and believe it or not you can stack 4-5 coats without solvent popping issues. (Proper flash and proper temperature is a must if you choose to do this, as well as paint experience.)
If you’re doing flake work, you can count on the 357-66 to bury that work in 3 wet coats, and not risk burn through (this is extremely beneficial when working with colored flakes.)
If you’re doing any candy paint work, this will offer the depth, wetness and extreme UV protection to help make those colors pop and last. (Candies are specialty paint and require protection from the sun whenever possible)
The 357-66 clear does not require you to over apply it to flow or stay wet. You do not have to adjust your PSI past it’s manufactured specifications to force the clear to flow, this clear just flows! The overspray just melts into itself with each coat.
This is a slow natured clear, making it ideal for overall paint jobs, especially those in
hot and humid conditions.
Extremely nice to cut and buff, doesn’t become more difficult a week later. (highly
advise using CSI for buffing) If you’re the type of shop that likes your clear to sit for
weeks prior to moving on, this clear is well suited to wait on the cut and buff process.
Pro Tip, do 3 coats, cut this with 600/800 Wet or dry, and then do 3 more coats to
