Revolt 357-30 Glamour Clear
The Revolt Glamour Clear utilizes top shelf European resins like all of Revolt’s line. The Glamour Clear was created for the High End Collision and the Restoration part of this industry. You can use it for custom work, although the 357-66 Euro Clear is better suited for that.
The Glamour clear is a user friendly 45% solids. Medium solids clears are naturally more user friendly. This clear uses 1 standard temperature of hardener, the RH30. You also mix it with 1 part of the provided reducer RR3060 Fast/RR3070 Medium/RR3080 Slow.
The reducer temperature you pick Is what flashes the clear properly. The clear cures the same no matter what reducer you choose. If you’re doing a large complete over 75 degrees, I would grab the RR3080 slow reducer. It will flow better and yield a better gloss. This was designed with the high end collision and restoration market in mind. With extreme UV resistance, and amazing clarity, you can count on this clear to protect your work. At 3 coats you are achieving proper mil build for durability and longevity. The majority of the clear’s you are using currently can be replaced with this clear. This is a high end clear, and one you can trust to compete with the majors. If you’re doing any candy paint work, this clear will work and offer UV protection to help make those colors pop. That said at Revolt we still recommend 357-66 Euro Clear for this purpose. (Candies are specialty paint and require protection from the sun whenever possible)
The 357-30 Glamour clear is designed to be able to mimic oem orange peel, or designed to flow beautifully flat. You’re able to manipulate this clear for your specific jobs purpose. So you can make it look like GM’s terrible peel, or you can create the
